We are a boutique multidisciplinary firm that is intimate with the creative and construction process of refined resorts, hotels, restaurants, residential, spa and other captivating domains.

With cinematic vision, we design highly detailed award-winning spaces with our custom designed elements and collaborative creative colleagues to become evocative experiences, brands, destinations and residences. This is our story.

Dayna Lee & Ted Berner are

the principal designers of POWERSTRIP STUDIO.
They and their talented team have designed
many award winning international
destinations since 2000.

LEE & BERNER worked in the Motion Picture Industry as Art Director, Set Decoration and Production Designers previous to founding POWERSTRIP STUDIO. With more than 20 features including Dances With Wolves and Thelma and Louise they have worked with critically acclaimed directors such as Jim Jarmusch, Ridley Scott, Kevin Costner and Paul T. Anderson. Ted and Dayna also designed and collaborated on a private concert for Sting’s All This Time performed in Tuscany which received a 2002 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Art Direction. Ted and Dayna are graduates of the Rhode Island School of Design and have worked in fashion and media for Xavier Moreau, Helmut Newton, Ralph Lauren and NBC.

THE STUDIO

The design team conceptualizes and produces designs with an emphasis on hand-tailored, artistically inspired and bespoke hotels resorts, high-end residences, spas, restaurants, lounges, outdoor living areas, and entertaining spaces.

POWERSTRIP STUDIO is a multi-disciplinary boutique firm based in Los Angeles, California that develops signature style for new brands and unique international and domestic properties by designing the elements that evoke cinematic stories and align with amenities, music, food concepts, wardrobe and the greater guest experience. Our expertise extends to branding including naming, identity design, graphic design, packaging and web design.
